Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis is seeking a Registered Nurse for Med Surg 5W to provide patient care using the nursing process and to coordinate care with other departments.
Location: Mercy Hospital South, 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128. Schedule: Full-Time (36 hours/week); Shift: Weekend, Night 7:00PM–7:30AM. New grads and experienced nurses welcome, with sign-on bonuses available.

Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg 5W
Location: Mercy Hospital South - 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128
Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours/week
Shift: Weekend, Night Shift | 7:00PM-7:30AM
Med Surg 5W cares for adult medical patients with diagnoses such as small bowel obstructions, respiratory infections, cellulitis, diverticulitis, and pneumonia. This unit provides an excellent environment to strengthen core Med Surg skills, enhance assessment abilities, and manage patients with diverse medical needs.
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:
Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.
Experience: Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.
