Job summary

Mercy South is seeking a Weekend Supervisor for Orthopedics in St. Louis, MO. The role is full-time days, 36 hours per week, with a 7a–7p shift on Fri/Sat/Sun.

The incumbent will supervise operations and patient care in the Orthopedics department and act as a clinical resource for staff and patients. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Licensure

• Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure where nursing duties are performed.
• Must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Certification

• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Supervisor experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Prolonged standing and walking during shifts.
• Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
