Job summary

Victory House in Boston’s South End seeks a Clinical Supervisor to oversee clinical programming in a Residential Recovery Home and supervise Substance Use Counselors. This includes managing the group schedule, providing supervision and training, and ensuring documentation and treatment plans are up to date.

Reporting to the Program Director and Clinical Director, the role requires a Master's degree and licensure eligibility, with a focus on harm reduction, collaboration, and quality client care

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a clinical field (psychology, education-counseling, social work, etc.).
• Ability to obtain independent licensure such as LMHC/LADC-1/LICSW within a reasonable time.
• Two years of supervised substance use disorder counseling experience.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and health issues related to HIV/AIDS.
• Willingness to provide and oversee substance use treatment with harm reduction.
• Strong organizational, writing, and communication skills.
• Proficient with computer systems, including data entry and documentation.
• CPR certification (may be obtained upon hire) and TB screening (may be obtained upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision to Substance Use Disorder Counselors, including weekly clinical supervision and group sessions.
• Onboard, train, and orient new counselors and staff; facilitate training curricula.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records using electronic health records.
• Review and approve treatment plans and progress notes; manage data submission.
• Facilitate admissions in collaboration with Program Director and Intake Coordinator.
• Provide individual and group counseling and support interventions.
• Support medication management and ensure program milieu integrity.
