Job summary

Phoenix House of New York seeks a Clinical Supervisor to provide direct clinical services and supervise clinical staff. You will review discharge planning, support treatment operations, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Master’s degree in SW or MHC and an independent NYS license. Five years in SUD treatment with supervisory experience are expected. On-site work at Long Island City residential site with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or Mental Health Counseling (required).
• Independent NYS license (LMSW/LMHC) required.
• Minimum five years of experience in substance use disorder treatment; supervisory experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services (crisis intervention, assessment, counseling, family therapy, referrals, discharge planning).
• Assist in development of treatment/recovery plans addressing mental health, substance use, education, and vocational rehab.
• Review and approve discharge planning; ensure compliance with Medicaid and regulations.
• Coordinate and supervise clinical staff; lead case conferences and staff development.
• Oversee patient case management with state/local agencies and community providers.
