Community Health Alliance in Ohio seeks an experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead and support our outpatient services with a strong focus on clinical documentation, quality oversight, utilization management and staff development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Active Ohio licensure (LISW, LPCC, IMFT) with supervisory designation where applicable; supervisory designation preferred.
• Minimum of three years of clinical leadership or supervisory experience.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of Ohio Medicaid Behavioral Health State Plan Services Provider Requirements and Reimbursement Manual.
• Knowledge of utilization management, prior authorization, medical necessity and payer documentation requirements.
• Experience ensuring compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Experience supervising clinicians in outpatient or community behavioral health settings.
• Knowledge of DSM and ASAM criteria.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, Trauma-Informed Care, MI, family-centered approaches).
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Office Suite, Outlook and Teams.
• Experience navigating electronic health record and payer authorization systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervision, coaching, and professional development to clinical staff.
• Monitor clinical documentation, treatment planning, productivity, and service quality for regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Support initial and continued authorization requests with evidence of medical necessity and appropriate care.
• Track authorizations, denials, and expiration dates to support timely submissions.
• Collaborate with staff and leadership to address issues and provide targeted coaching on medical necessity and payer requirements.
• Support staff through case consultation and evidence-based practice implementation.
• Foster collaboration among therapists, case managers, medical providers, schools, and families for coordinated care.
• Participate in quality improvement, chart reviews, and program development to strengthen services and operations.
• Provide direct clinical services when necessary within licensure and scope of practice.
