Job summary

Family Service of Rhode Island is seeking a leader to supervise the Mobile Response team and oversee MRSS and Adult Mobile Crisis programs in Providence, RI. You will conduct crisis assessments, provide brief treatment, and train staff in evidence-based approaches, contributing to a trauma-informed, client-centered culture.

The role requires a Master’s in human services and RI licensure, plus supervisory experience. Spanish/ multilingual skills are valued and may increase overall compensation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in human services (psychology, social work, marriage/family) required.
• Licensed in Rhode Island as Social Worker, Therapist or Mental Health Counselor
• Minimum 1 year of clinical supervisory experience
• Experience with emergency evaluation is a plus
• QMHP or QMHP eligible
• LCDP or substance use experience beneficial
• Spanish speaking preferred and compensated
• Bilingual/ASL skills compensated (6%)
• Multilingual skills compensated (8%)

Responsibilities

• Supervise Mobile Response team and MRSS program implementation.
• Provide crisis assessments, brief treatment, and consultations.
• Lead staff training on MRSS model and Emergency Services.
• Coordinate with ERS and agency leaders, work both remotely and on-site.
• Participate in on-call emergency services as needed.
