Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for detox and residential treatment to support the Clinical Director and oversee daily program operations.

The role requires a Master's degree (preferred) with 3 years in chemical dependency, VA licensure (LPC, LCSW, or LSATP), and strong organizational and communication skills to maintain a recovery-focused environment.

Qualifications

Master's degree or higher in a related field.
3 years experience working with chemical dependency or dual diagnosed clients preferred.
Current VA licensure to practice (LPC, LCSW, or LSATP) preferred or required.

Responsibilities

Support and assist Clinical Director as necessary in all relevant duties.
Manage the daily execution of all aspects of the clinical program.
Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and encouraging recovery environment.
Facilitate group occasionally and maintain small client caseload.
Provide consistent compliance oversight to ensure impeccable client documentation.
Provide Utilization Review support to drive authorization and retention throughout treatment.

What You'll Do

What We're Looking For

Master's degree or higher in related field preferred
