Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Norfolk, VA is hiring a Clinical Supervisor for our Detox and Residential treatment facility. You will support the Clinical Director, oversee the clinical program, engage clients, facilitate group sessions, ensure compliant documentation, and support utilization review to drive authorization and retention.

Requirements include a Master’s degree, 3 years of experience with chemical dependency, and current VA licensure (LPC, LCSW, or LSATP).

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in related field preferred.
• 3 years experience working with chemical dependency or dual diagnosed clients preferred.
• Current licensure necessary to practice in this state for this role: LPC, LCSW, LSATP.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist Clinical Director as necessary in all relevant duties.
• Manage the daily execution of all aspects of the Avenues clinical program.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and encouraging recovery environment.
• Facilitate group occasionally and maintain small client caseload.
• Provide consistent compliance oversight to ensure impeccable client documentation.
• Provide Utilization Review support to drive authorization and retention throughout treatment.
