Job summary

Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA seeks a Clinical Supervisor to join the unit-based leadership team and supervise nursing operations on a designated unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director, you may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.

The role requires a registered nurse with a current Georgia license, BLS certification, and at least 3 years of clinical experience, including 1 year in the area of specialty. Evening shift, 7:00pm–7:30am, with rotating weekend requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires RN license in Georgia and current BLS certification.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with relevant clinical experience.
• ACLS/PALS or other certifications preferred for certain units.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing operations on a unit and participate in leadership activities.
• Assume 24-hour nursing responsibility in the absence of the Manager or Director.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team. Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit. In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility. Works with a unit specific patient population.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty OR
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license
• Must hold Certified in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

PREFERRED:

• Additional Life Support credential (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units.

Work Hours:

7:00pm-7:30am
