Rutgers University Correctional Health Care (UCHC) in Clinton, New Jersey seeks a Clinician Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility program. Under supervision of the clinician administrator, you will supervise multidisciplinary staff and students, ensure timely, high quality clinical documentation, and lead initiatives to meet treatment standards.

The role involves advanced level clinical treatment for adults 18–64 and older, providing evaluations, crisis

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Psychology or Social Work, licensed LPC or LCSW.
• Five years postgraduate experience in behavioral healthcare.
• One year supervisory experience required.
• Valid driver's license to travel between sites.
• Correctional/forensic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily program operations at the Edna Mahan facility.
• Supervise staff and students, ensuring professionalism and standards.
• Ensure clinical documentation meets quality, quantity, and timeframes.
• Provide evaluations, individual therapy, crisis counseling and group psychotherapy.
• Conduct psychological testing and evaluations for referred inmates (ages 18+).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver care.
