Job summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily clinical activities of counselors and therapists providing substance use and/or mental health services.
• Support the Program Director in shaping program philosophy, policies, procedures, and resolving staffing or patient care issues.
• Review referrals, participate in intake decisions, and assign cases appropriately.
• Provide clinical oversight through chart reviews, supervisory meetings, direct observation, and case consultation.
• Develop treatment approaches for complex or high-risk patients.
• Conduct patient assessments and assist in determining treatment needs and follow-up care.
• Ensure compliance with program protocols, agency policies, and applicable regulatory standards.
• Build and maintain referral relationships within the community and beyond.
• Prepare reports, statistics, and other documentation for internal and external reporting requirements.
• Appear in court and provide testimony when approved by the Program Director.
• May oversee clerical and administrative functions to ensure efficient office operations.
• Participate in staff hiring, discipline, performance evaluations, and termination recommendations as needed.

Salary Range

Minimum $38.44/hour - Maximum $67.27/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
