Job summary

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center is seeking a full-time Rehabilitation Therapist to provide services in mental health and vocational rehabilitation programs. You will assess, plan, intervene, document, and coordinate care to promote recovery and progress toward patient goals.

The role includes conducting intake evaluations, maintaining records, and delivering diverse intervention techniques while guiding aides and students under supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, mental health, or a related field.
• Less than six months of previous experience preferred; for Peer Support roles, lived experience may substitute for a degree.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to demonstrate empathy in sensitive situations.
• Ability to analyze basic problems and apply sound judgment to determine appropriate solutions.
• No certification, registration, or licensure required.

Job Summary

Salary Range

Minimum 23.35/hour - Maximum 38.54/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
