Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Clinical Affairs Specimen Operations Specialist (CASO) to support the logistical stand up of clinical studies and ensure supply and sample management align with study design.

The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, driving project milestones, and communicating updates to stakeholders while adhering to quality and regulatory requirements. The position is onsite, with travel as needed to Abbott Cancer Diagnostics locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health or life sciences or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a clinical, IT, or regulatory role
• 3+ years in a project management support role
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Develop operational relationships with cross functional team members.
• Lead defined small/medium projects and components of large programs.
• Coordinate activities for supply and sample management set up for clinical studies.
• Liaise between internal and external stakeholders and Abbott Cancer Diagnostics teams.
• Provide communication updates to stakeholders and teams.
• Support process improvement initiatives within clinical and regulatory affairs.
• Analyze systems to identify efficiencies and gaps.
• Define and report on metrics for study health and data elements.
