Job summary

Charles River Laboratories in Shrewsbury, MA is seeking a Clinical Support Coordinator I to join our Clinical Support Services Team at our Safety Assessment site. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, has excellent communication skills and understands basic lab procedures.

The role provides project support to ensure timely delivery of clinical materials, ships supplies, and manages inventory of biological samples in compliance with SOPs and GLPs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-year related experience in a life science laboratory.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
• Must be detail-oriented with good verbal communication and ability to organize work with minimal direction.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and ship clinical kits and supplies under SOPs.
• Assist in customization and design of site manuals and materials for studies.
• Receive and accession clinical and non-clinical samples per GLPs and SOPs.
• Address discrepancies with clients or study teams per sponsor guidance.
• Create, modify and maintain studies within a LIMS system under supervision.
• Read study protocols and extract information for study creation and reporting.
• Coordinate flow of study information between clients and bioanalytical teams.
• Follow company SOPs and guidelines.
• Ensure raw data records are accurate and properly ordered.
• Provide cross-functional support to other service lines as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
