Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state
• Must maintain license in good standing
• Education requirements include relevant degree(s) and certifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours or 1 business day after referral
• Develop and obtain approval for treatment plans from referring physician
• Supervise SLP Assistants in patient care and related activities
• Record evaluations and daily/weekly progress notes per policy and state law
• Instruct families/caregivers in maintenance and discharge planning
