Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an approved curriculum in Speech-Language Pathology.
• License: Current, active license as Speech Pathologist.
• CPR Certification required for license renewal.
• Experience: Long-term care experience preferred.
• Language: Strong English communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises staff and students as applicable within state and federal guidelines.
• Develops and implements treatment plans to optimize functional outcomes.
• Educates staff and third-party payers on benefits and outcomes of intervention.
• Completes evaluations, progress notes, summaries and monthly reports.
• Performs patient screens and ensures safety of patients and staff at all times.
• Pursues ongoing education to maintain clinical skills and credentials.
