Sody-Daisy Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver comprehensive services in a supportive therapy department. You will assess, treat, and manage communication and swallowing needs, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes maintaining licensure, pursuing continued professional development, and contributing to program development within a resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
• Valid state licensure as SLP.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services including screening, evaluation, and treatment of patients.
• Document and bill per state & federal guidelines.
• Provide regular updates to the Director of Rehabilitation.
• Establish patient-centered interactions with patients and staff.
• Refer patients to SLP assistants when applicable and supervise.
• Participate in care conferences, case management, and interdisciplinary activities.
• Develop and enhance speech-language pathology programs to support outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with regulations.
• Maintain licensure and ASHA certification.
• Operate ethically and professionally at all times.
