Job summary

Talented-Medical-Solutions seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide diagnostic, therapeutic and consultative services for patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. The position involves performing comprehensive assessments, documenting outcomes, and working within an interdisciplinary care team in a hospital setting.

A Master's degree in SLP and state licensure are required; CCC-SLP is required; BLS/CPR is also required.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or foreign equivalent.
• Two years' SLP experience is preferred.
• Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of practice is required.
• CCC (ASHA) is preferred but CCC-SLP is required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient information before evaluations and during course of treatment.
• Conducts and documents comprehensive patient assessments.
• Assists in data collection of patient outcomes.
• Instructs and directs support staff as outlined in national and state Practice Acts.
• Supervises assistants and support staff.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
