Universal Health Services is seeking a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist at Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas. The role delivers comprehensive pharmaceutical care, integrates with the care team, counsels patients, and oversees medication orders to support safe, effective treatment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Doctorate in Pharmacy, has at least two years in a hospital setting or a PGY-1 residency, and maintains a Nevada pharmacist license.

Formación

• BS Pharm or PharmD from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years hospital experience or completion of PGY-1 residency.
• Current Nevada Pharmacist License.

Job Description

The Pharmacy Clinical Specialist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling, teaching and involvement with the care team for all applicable patients. The Pharmacy Clinical Specialist will fill orders for medications.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelors or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm or PharmD) from an accredited institution.

Experience

Minimum of two years (2) experience, preferably in a hospital setting or completion of at least one (1) year in a pharmacy residency (PGY-1) required.

Technical Skills

Automation experience with knowledge of reporting features. Microsoft Office and knowledge of hospital information system.

License/Certification

Current Pharmacist License in the State of Nevada
