Job summary

Universal Health Services (Centennial Hills Hospital) is seeking a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist to provide pharmaceutical care, patient counseling, and collaborative support within the care team. The role emphasizes medication therapy optimization and accurate order fulfillment in a hospital setting.

Qualifications include a PharmD/BS Pharmacy, Nevada license, and at least two years of hospital pharmacy experience or PGY-1 residency. Automation and HIS familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years experience, hospital setting or PGY-1 residency.
• Automation experience with knowledge of reporting features; familiarity with hospital information systems.
• Current Nevada Pharmacist License.

Job Description

The Pharmacy Clinical Specialist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling, teaching and involvement with the care team for all applicable patients. The Pharmacy Clinical Specialist will fill orders for medications.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelors or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm or PharmD) from an accredited institution.

Experience

Minimum of two years (2) experience, preferably in a hospital setting or completion of at least one (1) year in a pharmacy residency (PGY-1) required.

Technical Skills

Automation experience with knowledge of reporting features. Microsoft Office and knowledge of hospital information system.

License/Certification

Current Pharmacist License in the State of Nevada
