Job summary

Spring Valley Hospital, part of The Valley Health System in Las Vegas, NV, provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a 366-bed facility with a level III NICU and advanced cardiovascular services.

The Pharmacist will fill prescriptions, counsel patients, monitor therapies, and collaborate with clinicians to optimize patient outcomes. Nevada license, hospital experience, and automation reporting familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm) required.
• Current Pharmacist License in Nevada required.
• 1 year hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care through integrated drug distribution, patient counseling and teaching.
• Fills orders for medications, monitors patient therapies and provides drug information.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (BS Pharm)

Current Pharmacist License in Nevada

Hospital Pharmacist Experience (1 year preferred)
