Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital in Sanford, FL is seeking a Clinical Rehab Specialist to join our inpatient team. This role requires licensure in Florida and BLS certification, with RN, PT, OT, RT, or ST licensure eligible.

You will collaborate with Rehab physicians, support interdisciplinary care, and coordinate patient assessments while delivering compassionate, autonomous care in a patient-centered model.

Qualifications

• Current FL licensure or FL compact license is required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or ability to obtain licensure before start.
• 1 year of experience is preferred.
• BSN is preferred.
• BLS certification (AHA Healthcare Provider) is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison to Rehab physicians and administration.
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Coordinate business and medical information prior to patient admission.
• Perform on-site evaluations.
• Participate in community and educational activities promoting rehabilitation.
• Ensure effective care and efficient use of time, supplies and equipment.

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic Clinical Rehab Specialist to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN/other to provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adults in our patient centered care model. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

• Serve as a liaison to healthcare facilities, while serving the Rehab physicians and administration
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Coordinates business and medical information prior to patient admission
• Performs on-site evaluations
• Participates in community and educational activities promoting rehabilitation
• Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment

Requirements

• Licensed Professional in a clinical health care specialty (RN, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Respiratory Therapist or Speech Therapist). Current FL licensure or FL approved compact license.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida or able to obtain licensure prior to start is required
• 1 year of experience is preferred
• BSN is preferred
• BLS, (AHA Healthcare provider) required
