Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department.

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department
• Manage staffing, development, budgeting, patient satisfaction, professional growth, and quality outcomes
• Collaborate with the Medical Director, Residency Director, physicians, and organizational leadership
• Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and orient qualified nursing staff
• Coordinate and monitor nursing staff workload and coverage
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and healthcare advancements
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement strategies to enhance quality of care
• Develop and manage the nursing department budget
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining staffing and patient care quality

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
• Five (5) or more years of clinical experience in the field of Nursing
• At least three (3) years of experience in a leadership capacity
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Arkansas
• Current BLS certification or must successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance
• Proficient in using healthcare software and databases
