Job summary

Montefiore seeks a Clinical Manager for the Division of Services for Addiction to provide clinical supervision to Melrose Wellness Center staff and develop programs and policies. You will ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and supervise clinical staff while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Mental Health Counseling.
• New York State license as LCSW, LMHC, or PhD in Psychology.
• At least three years of experience with Substance Use Disorders; supervisory experience preferred.
• Expertise in assessment and treatment of substance abuse.
• Proficiency with Excel and spreadsheet/database systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor treatment status of patients with AIDS and HIV infection, psychiatric disorders and child welfare issues.
• Ensure patients receive optimal clinical services appropriate to their level of need.
• Provide comprehensive psychological services for crisis management when the clinic physician is not available and document services.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies; participate in accreditation activities and assist with corrective actions.
• Attend interdisciplinary case conferences and develop/enforce clinical policies and programs.
• Audit patient charts, identify gaps, and implement improvements in clinical operations.
• Coordinate staff training, supervise counseling staff, and provide feedback.
• Keep abreast of literature and assist with research projects at the division.
