Job summary

Vermilion Behavioral Health System seeks a fully licensed clinician to serve as Director of Clinical Services in Lafayette, LA. This leadership role provides clinical oversight, design and implementation of evidence-based programs, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to drive recovery outcomes.

You will supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and align services with the hospital’s mission.

Qualifications

• Licensed clinical professional with advanced degree in behavioral/mental health.
• Minimum of 4 years’ clinical population experience.
• Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards (Joint Commission/CMS/CARF).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction to clinical teams and oversee operations.
• supervise staff, provide clinical consultation, and ensure fidelity to evidence-based practices.
• Develop and implement clinical programs, monitor outcomes and quality metrics.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and manage risk across facilities.
• Collaborate with leadership to align services with organizational goals.
• Participate in on-call rotation and community engagement.
