Freedom Behavioral Hospital of Bastrop is seeking a Clinical Social Services Director to lead the social services department and supervise social service interventions across a multi-disciplinary team. The role requires a Master’s in Social Work and an active Louisiana LCSW license, with at least one year in behavioral health.

The Director collaborates with medical staff, the DON, and nursing to ensure patient rights and high-quality care, while managing budgets and participating in QM

Qualifications

• Master’s in social work from an accredited school.
• Current LCSW license in the state of Louisiana.
• One year experience in a Behavioral Health setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee functioning and communication within the social service department.
• Lead crisis intervention and family communication initiatives.
• Participate in a multi-disciplinary team and supervise social service interventions.
• Collaborate with DON, nursing, discharge planners, and case managers.
• Manage budgetary needs for the social service department.
• Support QM activities and performance improvement.
