Job summary

Vermilion Behavioral Health System in Lafayette, LA seeks a fully licensed Director of Clinical Services to provide clinical leadership, oversight, and program development for evidence-based care. The role focuses on CBT/DBT implementation, staff development, and sustained quality across inpatient services.

The DCS will lead multidisciplinary teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and partner with hospital leadership to advance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed clinician with a Master’s or Doctorate in Behavioral or Mental Health.
• Minimum 4 years of experience working with clinical populations.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards (Joint Commission, CMS, CARF) and compliance.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication across clinical and administrative teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to clinical teams including therapists and social workers.
• Oversee daily clinical operations, budgeting, and program planning with clinical expertise.
• Uphold patient-centered care and ensure regulatory and quality standards are met.
• Lead program development and fidelity to evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT).
• Coordinate care across inpatient and outpatient services and partner with leadership teams.
• Perform staff development, supervision, and performance reviews.
• Ensure documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance across programs.
