Job summary

Goldson Spine Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full-time Medical Scribe to support physicians by documenting patient information, medical histories, exams, tests, treatments, and services. The role emphasizes accuracy, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with chiropractors and physical therapists.

The position requires strong written and verbal communication, computer literacy, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Proficient in documenting patient information in Chiro Touch.
• Attend monthly and quarterly office meetings in addition to annual events.
• Abides by HIPAA laws regarding the sharing of personal medical information.

Responsibilities

• Document patient information in Chiro Touch accurately.
• Consult with chiropractors and physical therapists to verify information.
• Ensure medical reports (initial, re-exam, final) are completed and submitted for review.
• Release medical records to authorized persons (lawyers, insurers, patients) via fax, email, or mail.
• Open to cross-training in other departments.
