The role is full-time, office/clinic-based, with early morning hours and M-F shifts. The candidate will perform administrative support for a Clinical Pharmacology unit, manage calendars, assist with meetings, and contribute to document control and front-desk backup.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; experience may substitute education.
• 3-4 years in an administrative support role.
• Knowledge of science or scientific background preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to type 50 wpm; proficient with computers and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative support and related duties which are broad, varied, and often of a complex/confidential manner such as handling telephone calls, scheduling appointments, maintaining calendars, completing Expense Reports, composes/types correspondence, etc.
• Coordinates and assists with various meetings/minutes (e.g., Management-Staff Meeting, Operations Meeting, etc.).
• Supports department's efforts on scheduling activities including client visits travel arrangements, scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, agendas, etc.
• Maintains departmental files including but not limited to training files, client contract files, and project files.
• Serves as a backup for the front desk/switchboard.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
