Fortrea in Madison, WI is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to interact with healthy volunteers while learning to read protocols in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. You will engage with a range of study types in Phase 1 trials, ensuring safety and protocol compliance.

The role focuses on coordinating study activities, assisting with documentation, and supporting investigators, PMs, and site staff to meet timelines.

Qualifications

• Degree in life sciences preferred; certification in allied health may be considered.
• Typically 3–4 years of experience in a research environment.
• Knowledge of protocol designs, study objectives and procedures.
• Familiarity with ICH guidelines and GCP.
• Customer service experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Study set-up, including development and approval of study documents.
• Coordinate critical events and monitor participant safety and well-being.
• Attend and contribute to key study planning meetings.
• Review protocols and provide site feedback to PM/Writer.
• Assist with recruitment planning and site resourcing.
• Ensure source documents and CQI issues are managed.
