Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in healthcare administration, business or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of administrative support experience in a healthcare setting required; staff scheduling experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships and collaborate effectively with staff, leaders and colleagues across the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with scheduling software, Microsoft Office applications and electronic record systems.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate scheduling for nurses and LNAs to ensure appropriate staffing coverage across Health Center neighborhoods in collaboration with Health Services leadership.
  • Prepare, maintain and distribute employee schedules, staffing assignments and daily staffing sheets, making real-time adjustments as staffing needs change.
  • Monitor staffing levels and proactively identify coverage gaps and promptly address call-outs and scheduling conflicts while helping implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with nursing leadership regarding staffing needs, scheduling trends and operational priorities.
  • Ensure scheduling practices align with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a resource for staff regarding scheduling questions and staffing procedures.
  • Develop positive working relationships with team members while promoting fairness, consistency and transparency in scheduling practices.
  • Model and support a culture of teamwork, professionalism and exceptional customer service.
  • Provide administrative support to neighborhood teams, including answering phones, routing inquiries, filing, scanning, managing resident-related documentation and support with inventory of clinical supplies.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate records and supporting regulatory and departmental documentation requirements.

Education

Job description

Wake Robin is seeking a highly organized, and detail-oriented Clinical Scheduler to support the daily operations of our Health Center. This important role helps ensure safe, consistent staffing and smooth administrative operations by coordinating schedules, supporting neighborhood teams and maintaining effective communication with nursing staff and leadership. The ideal candidate is dependable, adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment where accuracy, responsiveness and teamwork are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling
  • Coordinate scheduling for nurses and LNAs to ensure appropriate staffing coverage across all Health Center neighborhoods in collaboration with Health Services leadership.
