Job summary

Concordia Visiting Nurses in Beaver County, PA is seeking a Clinical Scheduler to join our growing team. You will create and manage daily and weekly schedules for clinical staff, coordinate admissions, and ensure smooth transitions of care.

The role requires empathetic communication, strong organization, and proficiency with scheduling software and EHR systems. A high school diploma or GED is required; healthcare experience is a plus.

What you’ll do as a Clinical Scheduler:

• Schedule Management:Creating and managing daily and weekly schedules for clinical staff, ensuring appropriate staffing levels based on client needs, preferences, and availability.
• Client & Caregiver Communication:Effectively communicating schedule updates, changes, and important information to clients, families, and clinical staff.
• Problem Solving & Adaptability:Responding proactively to last-minute changes, call-offs, and urgent client needs, finding efficient solutions to maintain continuity of care.
• Documentation & Compliance:Maintaining accurate records of schedules, authorizations, and client information within the scheduling software and electronic health records (EHR) systems, adhering to all HIPAA regulations and compliance standards.
• Collaboration:Working closely with the Clinical Manager, Intake team, and other staff members to coordinate admissions, initial visits, and ensure smooth transitions of care.
• Customer Service:Demonstrating a strong focus on customer service, ensuring all interactions are professional, empathetic, and patient-centered.
