Job summary

Spllabs is seeking a detail-oriented lab support professional to receive, document, and track samples from diverse sources. You will ensure compliance with standards, record analyses in the LIMS, and prepare shipments while maintaining an orderly work area.

The role requires a high school diploma (science degree preferred) and experience in high-volume labs. Commitment to accuracy, teamwork, and safety is essential, with full-time onsite work and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; science-related degree preferred
• Experience handling samples or lab support in high-volume environments
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and organization
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; LIMS experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive and document samples from clients, couriers, shipping, laboratory, and/or field staff
• Verify samples meet condition standards and comply with policies and regulatory guidelines
• Record sample information, details, and required analyses in laboratory software
• Label, organize, and distribute samples to appropriate personnel in a timely manner
• Maintain secure sample storage and oversee placement, retrieval, and disposal per protocols
• Prepare sample kits and manage outbound shipments as required
• Support inventory management, supply prep, and other operational tasks
• Maintain a clean, safe, compliant work environment per standards
• Complete tasks within timelines while upholding accuracy and quality
• Perform other duties as assigned within training scope
