Job summary

LabConnect is hiring a Clinical Sample Specialist III to manage sample accessioning, storage, and shipments at our Johnson City facility. You will communicate with cross-functional teams, perform complex data entry in ERP, and support process improvements while ensuring GDP and safety standards are followed.

The role requires lab experience, the ability to troubleshoot, and strong coordination with CS, STS, and CTM teams. Training and IATA knowledge are valued.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; AS or BA/BS preferred in relevant field.
• Experience in lab/biorepository sample processing or 6 months as Clinical Sample Specialist II preferred.
• Experience training and providing operational oversight in a lab environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties of Clinical Sample Specialist I/II with proficiency.
• Ensure tasks and data accuracy; troubleshoot issues.
• Provide training and oversight for sample management processes (receipt, accessioning, storage, shipment).
• Enter shipment data into ERP for billing; manage storage tasks and specimen investigations.
• Participate in process improvements and risk-reduction activities.
