Job summary

Network for Hope (NFH) is seeking a Clinical Responder to provide onsite evaluations of potential donors and coordinate with hospital teams to support the donation process. This role requires clinical expertise, strong decision-making, and the ability to perform under high-pressure conditions with professionalism and compassion.

The position involves chart reviews, collaboration with clinicians, and ensuring timely communication to advance referrals through the donation process.

Qualifications

• Some post-secondary education is required.
• An associate degree in allied or health science or equivalent experience preferred.
• Two years of experience in a medical/critical care field or OPO required.

Responsibilities

• Completes timely onsite response to the donation service area hospitals for viable organ referrals.
• Conducts chart reviews and determines medical suitability for donation with other clinical personnel.
• Collaborates with healthcare team to develop a plan for referral management from initial referral to death declaration or DCD evaluation.
• Informs hospital staff on progression of referral process.
• Maintains proper donor information and charting documentation during referral assessment.
