Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown in Columbus, GA, is seeking a Clinical Resource Coordinator to optimize imaging schedules and serve as the central point of contact for add-on procedures. This role coordinates between referring physicians and radiologists to ensure timely access to imaging services.

You will follow up with patients who miss or cancel appointments, operate the hospital scheduler system, and identify open timeslots to backfill.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• AMA Radiologic Technology program preferred.
• 2 years of admin/clerical experience required.
• Imaging scheduling experience preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Optimizes daily all modality schedules by being the central point of contact for all add on procedures.
• Facilitates communications between referring physicians and radiologists.
• Follows-up with patient to reschedule appointments for those who do not show or cancel appointments.
• Operates and utilizes the Scheduler Program in the hospital scheduling system.
• Proactively identifies open timeslots and contacts patients and referrers to backfill slots.
• Builds relationships with referring offices to become central point of contact for immediate appointment availability.
• Fields referrers' special requests for reports, unique protocols, follow-up, etc.
• Central contact for any technical recalls requested by the radiologist.
