Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Northside in Columbus, GA seeks an experienced Imaging Leader to oversee quality imaging and department operations. You will supervise daily workflow, staff, and safety, ensuring ACCR and FDA accreditation standards are maintained.

The role requires graduating from a radiologic technology or related program, 4 years of technical experience, ARRT/ARDMS/NMTCB/CNMT/CCI certification on hire, and BCLS. Strong leadership and timekeeping skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program in Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, or Cardiovascular Sonography.
• Minimum of 4 years of technical experience.
• Experience as a modality lead strongly preferred.
• Certification on hire: ARRT, ARDMS, CNMT, NMTCB, or CCI; BCLS on hire.

Responsibilities

• Ensures quality imaging and quality control are maintained.
• Ensures department maintains ACR and FDA accreditations.
• Provides leadership for off-site locations.
• Supervises daily departmental operations including staff schedules and productivity.
• Supervises clinical staff.
• Performs and maintains staff evaluations and annual competencies.
• Provides leadership of personnel through guidance, feedback, and delegation.
• Performs primary timekeeping responsibilities.
• Acts as safety coach for department.
