Job description

  • Engagement: Hourly contract (independent contractor)
  • Rate: USD 70-80/hour
  • Location: Remote – candidates based in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Europe, Singapore, Dubai, or Australia who are legally able to work as independent contractors in their jurisdiction.

One of our clients is partnering with a leading AI lab to advance the capabilities of frontier large language models. Clinical Researchers with STEM PhDs will leverage their subject matter expertise to create challenging, high-quality problems with real-world applicability, shaping the future of AI in healthcare and scientific research.

What You’ll Do
  • Collaborate asynchronously with a team of highly qualified domain experts.
  • Design multi-step workflows that require agents to navigate databases, extract relevant data, and analyze scientific or regulatory information.
  • Create detailed evaluation rubrics to assess AI agent performance.
  • Contribute 15–20 hours per week, with the potential for increased hours and project extension.
Who You Are
  • You hold a PhD from a top institution in the U.S., Canada, UK, New Zealand, or Australia.
  • You have experience with medical or scientific databases such as ClinicalTrials.gov, PubMed, FDA databases, or CDC data.
  • You bring professional research experience in academia, pharmaceutical, or healthcare institutions.
  • You have exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • You possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • You are fluent in English and able to communicate complex concepts clearly.
Nice-to-Have Specialties
  • Prior experience creating evaluation rubrics or scoring systems for AI models.
  • Experience in cross-disciplinary research projects or clinical trial design.

Role Start Date
