The position emphasizes collaboration across scientific, clinical, and technical teams, model development, testing, and deployment in cloud environments, particularly AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
• Proven experience in software engineering, AI, or machine learning
• Proficiency in Python and relevant AI/ML frameworks
• Experience with model training, fine-tuning, and evaluation
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Eagerness to stay current with emerging AI technologies and best practices

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI models supporting healthcare research workflows
• Implement testing and quality assurance strategies for AI systems
• Collaborate with scientific, clinical, and technical teams to define project requirements
• Build AI agents using state-of-the-art models and techniques
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including deployment in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Support experimentation with new AI frameworks and tools to mature innovative ideas into production-ready solutions
• Stay informed on advancements in generative AI, multi-modal systems, and cloud engineering
