Job summary

Altasciences is seeking a Clinical Research Technician II to support clinical trial activities, ensuring GCP/SOP compliance and confidentiality of participants and sponsors. The role includes handling specimens, processing, and coordinating with clinic teams in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED (college degree preferred) and strong customer service skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for Montreal locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Good communication (English; French for Montreal location).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure confidentiality of participants and sponsors.
• Understand protocol-driven timed study events and collection windows.
• Report procedural deviations to supervisory staff.
• Prepare and clean workstations (e.g., urine collection, blood processing).
• Maintain high levels of customer service, quality and safety.
• Perform clinical trial activities such as sample handling and in-house testing.
• Interact with participants with a high standard of customer service.
• Report significant participant misbehavior to management.
• Provide feedback on study progress to team members.
• Proactively communicate issues and resolutions to supervisors.
• Mentor and coach newly hired staff.
• Complete and maintain required training.

Education
