Job summary

Portland VA Research Foundation seeks a Study Coordinator to support the CAPRESA ALS research project within the VA Portland Health Care System. You will assist the lead study coordinator and PI with coordinating study activities, recruiting Veterans, obtaining consent, and recording data.

This onsite position requires strong organizational and communication skills, familiarity with FDA/IRB guidelines, and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in science or social sciences.
• Experience with human subjects research.
• Experience with veteran population preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, and enroll Veterans to participate in the study.
• Conduct informed consent and administer surveys to patients.
• Enter patient data into electronic database systems.
• Maintain organized and accurate study records.
• Attend research coordinator educational opportunities at OHSU and the Portland VA.
