Job summary

Denver Research Institute in Denver, CO is seeking a Professional Research Associate to support day-to-day operations and study coordination for research, evaluation and implementation projects within the Denver Veteran’s Health Administration.

Under supervision of the Principal Investigator and/or Program Manager, you will recruit participants, manage data, liaise with regulatory bodies, prepare regulatory packages, and maintain study records across lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical research experience.
• Highly organized, reliable, and able to work semi-autonomously; ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities; attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Up to date on required immunizations or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Ability to independently drive to study recruitment sites, possibly outside the Denver area.
• Must be willing to acquire new skills as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations and study coordination for research, evaluation, and implementation projects.
• Assist with regulatory submissions to boards and IRBs; participant recruitment, enrollment, retention, and data collection.
• Maintain study records and data management per design and regulatory rules.
• Develop and submit regulatory packages to regulatory bodies (PRMS, VA RDC, IRBs).
• Screen and recruit candidates using objective criteria; randomize as required.
• Manage implementation, control and reporting on clinical tests; record data and ship samples to vendors.
