Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago seeks a Manager of Clinical Research to lead clinical and translational programs within Genetics and Rare Diseases and Endocrinology divisions.

You will interface with funding agencies, SMCRI, and principal investigators to ensure compliant, efficient research operations. Responsibilities include managing pre- and post-award activities, collaborating with RBO and OCCT, and promoting the program through meetings, publications, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with five+ years of research experience; master’s degree or research certification preferred.
• Expert knowledge of FDA and GCP Guidelines.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and personnel.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret financial data and metrics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical research staff and coordinate study procedures and processes across internal and external teams.
• Provide leadership in education and execution of research coordinator responsibilities.
• Develop strategic plans, policies, and procedures for the research program.
• Disseminate key updates to research teams in real-time.
• Identify funding opportunities and manage grants and contracts with RBO and OCCT.
