Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Research Project Manager to oversee complex pediatric research projects in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.

You will collaborate with principal investigators and research managers, guiding study teams and ensuring milestones, deliverables, and timelines are met. The role requires strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, and experience with regulatory guidelines (FDA/HSR/GCP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with four or more years clinical research experience.
• Master’s degree and/or relevant research certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage programmatic activities for internally and externally funded, complex research projects.
• Coordinate defined projects with current and future project plans.
• Oversee operations of ongoing research projects and improve workflows as needed.
• Assist with pre-award and post-award activities for sponsored research proposals and projects.
• Facilitate contract negotiations and accounting with RBO and OCCT for timely financial reconciliation.
