Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago is seeking a clinical research coordinator to coordinate all clinical research activities with minimal supervision. You will manage start-up, site visits, regulatory compliance, data handling, and subject engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two or more years research experience required.
• Two-three years with complex research projects preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple studies.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong knowledge of FDA, HSR, and GCP Guidelines.
• Strong analytical skills with quantitative and qualitative methods.
• May assist in technology system implementation.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor team members.
• Ability to foster an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and oversees all aspects of clinical research projects, including study start-up, site qualifications, initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits.
• Oversees site visits, sponsor inquiries, and adherence to study protocols and regulatory standards.
• Manages regulatory compliance and documentation, including regulatory submissions and SOP updates.
• Promotes ethical conduct and integrity in data handling and study conduct.
• Manages study logistics, documents, lab kits, and data dictionaries.
• Manages participant engagement, consent processes, and subject reimbursement.
• Handles data lifecycle tasks: abstraction, entry, QA/QC, and analysis.
• Assists in budget preparation and grant reporting; supports PI.
• Provides training, mentorship, and onboarding for research personnel.
• Leads dissemination of findings via manuscripts, abstracts/posters, and national presentations.
