Job summary

Actalent in Orlando, FL seeks a Laboratory Assistant for a full-time, contract-to-hire role supporting clinical research trials. You will assist the Lab Supervisor and CRCs in specimen collection and phlebotomy, while handling inventory, shipping, and kit preparation in a busy clinical facility.

The position emphasizes accurate documentation, adherence to GCP, and teamwork in a 40-hour week with a structured schedule. Benefits commence after 90 days of permanent status.

Qualifications

• Clinical research experience and knowledge of GCP documentation.
• Phlebotomy experience with 22/23 gauge needles.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist CRCs and Investigator with clinical study activities.
• Perform QC of source documents and CRFs for trials.
• Manage inventory and shipping of specimens.
• Conduct phlebotomy on trial volunteers.
• Create kits for upcoming studies.
