Qualifications

• Experience coordinating clinical research participant logistics.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, scheduling, travel, lodging, and admission arrangements for research study participants.
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain the central appointment calendar.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and clinical staff.
• Triage incoming telephone calls and emails and coordinate appropriate follow-up.
• Process new patient referrals and maintain accurate patient files and tracking reports.
• Collect outside medical records and imaging and upload them into the EMR system.
• Prepare credentialing packages for trainees as required.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and SOP development and implementation.
• Train and mentor other patient coordinators when needed.
• Ensure accurate documentation and provide administrative support for clinical research activities.
