Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Research Nurse to coordinate patient care in clinical studies, working under supervision to meet protocol standards.

You will educate investigators and staff, coordinate enrollment and follow-up, and mentor team members while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This is a day-shift, full-time role based in Minnesota with multiple hospital sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing program.
• 2–5 years of experience in clinical practice and/or hospital experience in specialty.
• RN - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire.
• CITI Certification (Allina) within 180 days of hire; nursing specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care in accordance with research protocol and regulatory requirements.
• Provide protocol-specific education to investigators, nurses, and staff; ensure safe administration of study treatments.
• Coordinate care throughout the study and follow-up; ensure compliance with the study.
• Assist with start-up activities, screening, eligibility, informed consent and randomization; maintain patient communications.
• Train and mentor research and clinical staff; contribute to quality indicators and data collection.
