BayCare Health System in Tampa seeks a Clinical Research Nurse to coordinate studies under the principal investigator's direction. The role requires adherence to Good Clinical Practice, IRB rules, and patient safety protocols.

Responsibilities include scheduling visits, screening and recruiting patients, managing regulatory documents, and ensuring accurate data collection in EDC/CRF systems. RN licensure with 2+ years of healthcare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN license and meet certification requirements as applicable.
• Healthcare experience with patient care and study coordination is preferred.
• Clinical research exposure is a plus and encouraged.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and implement research studies under PI guidance.
• Ensure adherence to protocol, IRB requirements and regulations.
• Schedule patient visits for protocol-related procedures.
• Screen, recruit, and prepare IRB reports.
• Maintain regulatory documents and informed consent processes.
• Perform HIPAA authorizations and protect patient data.
• Conduct clinical follow-up of study subjects.
• Create and complete source worksheets for EDC/CRF.
• Collect and verify source data for data capture systems.
• Assess and report trial-related and non-trial symptoms.
• Report adverse events and manage investigational product accountability.
• Work independently with professional judgment.

Title: Clinical Research Nurse

Facility: St. Joseph's Hospital

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and implements research studies for assigned services under the direction of the Principal investigator in accordance with the standards of good clinical practice, federal and state regulations and institutional review board (IRB) requirements

• Ensures adherence to the study protocol and schedule of events

• Patient visit scheduling for protocol related procedures

• Screening, study recruitment, preparation of IRB reports

• Establishment and maintenance of regulatory documents

• Performing the process of informed consent and HIPPA authorization

• Clinical follow-up of study subjects

• Creation and completion of source worksheets,

• Collecting source data for electronic data capture (EDC) systems or Case Report Form (CRF) completion

• Assesses patients for trial-related and non-trial related symptoms

• Reporting of adverse events, serious adverse events, and dispensing / accountability of investigational product

• Must work independently and use sound judgment while performing job duties

• Performs duties as assigned under the scope of related certification or licensure
