Qualifications

• RN required with nursing degree.
• Associates in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 2 years healthcare or management experience; clinical research experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement research studies under PI supervision.
• Ensure adherence to protocol and IRB requirements.
• Schedule patient visits for protocol procedures.
• Screen, recruit, and prepare IRB reports.
• Maintain regulatory documents and informed consent processes.
• Perform follow-up of study subjects and data collection.
• Document source data for EDC/CRF systems.
• Report adverse events and manage investigational product accountability.

Title: Clinical Research Nurse

Facility: St. Anthonys Hospital

Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and implements research studies for assigned services under the direction of the Principal investigator in accordance with the standards of good clinical practice, federal and state regulations and institutional review board (IRB) requirements
• Ensures adherence to the study protocol and schedule of events
• Patient visit scheduling for protocol related procedures
• Screening, study recruitment, preparation of IRB reports
• Establishment and maintenance of regulatory documents
• Performing the process of informed consent and HIPPA authorization
• Clinical follow-up of study subjects
• Creation and completion of source worksheets,
• Collecting source data for electronic data capture (EDC) systems or Case Report Form (CRF) completion
• Assesses patients for trial-related and non-trial related symptoms
• Reporting of adverse events, serious adverse events, and dispensing / accountability of investigational product
• Must work independently and use sound judgment while performing job duties
• Performs duties as assigned under the scope of related certification or licensure
